Small claims resolutions include landlord tenant unpaid rent/deposits, medical bills, contractors' bills, dog bite injuries, other personal injuries, stud fees for dogs and horses, unpaid hay bills, unpaid wages, escrowed earnest money in failed real estate transactions, timber trespass (cutting trees on land of another), cost of replacing/building fences, babysitting fees, school tuition, NSF checks to businesses, unpaid county library fines.
Neighbor to Neighbor resolutions include noise and disturbing the peace cases, parent/youth discussion cases, failure to provide cases, landlord disputes, failure to provide services, land disputes and other similar neighbor resolution cases.
Peer mediation resolutions include slander, rude behavior, mean comments based on misunderstandings, racist’s comments, and name calling and tensions that threaten to break into violence.
Conflict Solutions for Tillamook does not mediate cases involving domestic violence. Cases cannot be mediated involving a filed physical assault or a restraining order in the past three years, without the presence of law enforcement. Small claims court cannot hear cases that decide interest in real property.

The Tillamook County Commission on Children and Families (the Commission) has 12 years of experience providing technical assistance and training to community organizations in Tillamook County and serving as a bridge between the State government and these organizations.
The Commission provides mediation services through a coordinated team approach managed and orchestrated by the Commission on Children and Families staff. The Commission Director, Grant Specialist/Trainer, Mediation Coordinator, in combination with an Office Specialist and volunteer assistant, provide for the coordination of the Community Mediation project.
