Click here for a list of hotels located in downtown Portland. Red Lion Hotel, 1021 NE Grand Avenue. Inn at the Convention Center, 420 NE Holladay Street. Hostels are a great low-cost option. Portland is home to two well-established, beautiful, and reputable hostels.
HI-Portland Hostel, Northwest, 425 NW 18th Avenue.

If you’re interested in sharing a hotel room with another conference attendee, please let us know. We’ll keep a list of people looking for roommates and do our best to coordinate these room shares. Email oma@omediate.org if you are looking for a conference roommate. Please include:
Homestays are a great way to help conference attendees keep costs down as well as enjoy Portland's fabulous hospitality! Do you have room in your home in the Portland metro area that you would like to share with conference attendees from other areas? Are you looking for a homestay during the conference? If you would like to offer a homestay, please email oma@omediate.org with the following information:
As homestay opportunities become available, we will contact those on our list. Please be advised that we will not know how many homestays are available until closer to the conference so be sure you make alternative arrangements for housing. We’ll do our best to find you a homestay and we’ll let you know one way or the other as soon as possible.
Another homestay option for the adventurous. One must become a member of CouchSurfing.org in order to participate. "CouchSurfing members share hospitality with one another. These exchanges are a uniquely rich form of cultural interaction. Hosts have the opportunity to meet people from all over the world without leaving home. 'surfers,' or travelers, are able to participate in the local life of the places they visit. We also give more people the chance to become travelers, because "surfing" lowers the financial cost of exploration."
