"Some time ago there were some differences between the Giraffe and Hyena families.  At last the differences were resolved and all the animals decided to have a party because the two families were now united.  The party was organized to show reconciliation.

Giraffes, who are known for their melodious voices, start to sing a beautiful song.  Mr. Zebra who cannot sing very well, not to be outdone, decides to show off his dancing skills.  He starts what he calls a skipping dance.  He is soon joined by Impala, and the two raise some dust.

Baboon, who is the mediator between the two families, is happy because his efforts were fruitful.  He is busy drinking his seven-days brewed traditional beer given to him.  To show that he and Giraffe are now united.  Hyena puts his pot of beer aside and helps his friends the Giraffes in the song they have started. "

This story is handwritten by the artist.  The original is tucked into a pocket at the back of the painting.
