Guidelines for Mediators
Here you will find some of the rules and regulations related to the practice of Oregon mediators. The mediation venue most often defines which documents apply to a particular mediator.
All OMA members who are practitioners agree to abide by the OMA Core Standards of Mediation Practice. Mediators may be subject to other regulations, depending on their affiliation.
How are OMA’s Core Standards serving Oregon’s mediation community? The OMA Standards and Practices Committee is currently reviewing the Core Standards to determine if adjustments are needed at this time. Tell us your thoughts by taking this survey http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/NCM7H88
OMA standards and guidelines are generally researched and developed by the Standards and Practices Committee prior to submission to the OMA board for approval. For more information about the OMA Standards & Practices Committee, click here.
